Who is this list for?

This list is for adult players choosing an all-round racket. Its groups cover players just starting, those playing regularly, and those competing or playing for two or more years.

There is no budget ceiling, so the list is not restricted to lower-cost models. For a starting-point selection, see the beginner racket list; use the shop-and-date price table here to check current costs.

Which specifications matter?

HEAD recommends round heads for beginners because their sweet spot, the effective hitting area, is larger and centred. Its guide describes teardrop shapes as a mix of power and control. Shape is therefore a useful starting filter, rather than a quality rating.

HEAD says beginners and intermediate players usually prefer 340–360 g. Among the 202 complete adult entries dated 15 October 2026, median weight is 365 g and median balance is 265 mm. Balance is the distance from the handle end to the balance point; HEAD associates lower balance with control. The weight and balance guide explains the distinction.

HEAD describes fibreglass faces as more flexible and carbon faces as stiffer. Core material is separate: EVA is a rubber-like foam, and Stock Padel says it comes in soft, medium and hard densities. Keep the shop’s hardness rating alongside the material name.

How is the list computed?

We use the catalogue checked on 15 October 2026 and the same scoring system as the racket finder. The pool contains 193 rackets, scored separately for each level with an all-round style and no budget limit. The four highest-scoring entries per level are listed; equal scores put the cheaper racket first.

The catalogue contains 487 models, including 459 adult models. Of those adult models, 257 lack shape, weight or balance in every source and are excluded from the finder. The order reflects this fixed profile, not a play-test judgement.

Which models are listed?

Tennis-Point lists Enebe Full Tubular Carbon as hybrid, meaning between round and diamond, at 365 g with a 265 mm balance. Despite its name, the listed face is fibreglass; its HR3 EVA core is rated hard by the shop, and its level rating is Beginners.

Tennis-Point lists HEAD Speed 2025 as teardrop, at 350 g with a 270 mm balance. It lists a fibreglass face and Soft Foam core, rates the core soft, and assigns the Beginners level.

Tennis-Point lists Wilson Carbon Force as teardrop, at 365 g with a 265 mm balance. Its face mixes carbon and fibreglass; the EVA Soft core is rated soft by the shop, and its level rating is Advanced.

Questions

Which padel racket brands are covered?

Adult shop listings include Bullpadel, adidas, NOX, Siux, StarVie, Wilson, HEAD and Babolat. Those catalogue counts describe coverage on 15 October 2026, not a ranking of brand quality.

Is a heavier padel racket better?

HEAD says greater weight can add power and stability but makes a racket harder to handle. Its guide associates heavier rackets with experienced attacking players, rather than recommending them for everyone.

Does a carbon face mean a hard core?

Not in every listed model: Tennis-Point gives Wilson Carbon Force a mixed carbon-and-fibreglass face and a soft-rated EVA Soft core. Face composition and core hardness are separate specification fields.
