Best padel balls and price per ball

FIP specifies a padel ball diameter of 6.35–6.77 cm and a weight of 56.0–59.4 g. A new ball must bounce 135–145 cm when dropped onto a hard surface from 2.54 m. The stated internal pressure is 4.6–5.2 kg per 2.54 square cm.

FIP permits white, yellow or another colour that clearly contrasts with the court surface. For the distinction between ball types, see the padel balls versus tennis balls comparison. Decathlon says padel balls have significantly lower internal pressure than tennis balls.

The price-per-ball tool divides the pack price by the number of balls in that pack. The quantity comes from the pack name: a standard tin holds 3 balls, a dozen means 12, and 24 tins contain 72 balls.

On 15 October 2026, Tennis-Point and Sweatband listings included packs of 3, 12, 72 and 144 balls. Tins and larger boxes therefore represent different quantities, not directly comparable pack prices. Price per ball puts those quantities on the same scale; a larger pack is not automatically better value.

For 11 listings, the pack quantity was not stated. Those entries show no price per ball rather than an estimate. The table retains the shop and price date alongside the listing.

On 15 October 2026, Tennis-Point and Sweatband listed 70 ball packs in stock in the catalogue. Brands included Wilson, Dunlop, HEAD, Babolat, Bullpadel, Vollint, Tourna, Padel-Point, Siux and adidas. Listed models included Head Pro+ Padel Balls, Dunlop Team Padel Balls and Padel Pro S+ 3 Ball Tube.

Decathlon says pressurised padel balls start losing pressure as soon as the sealed tube is opened. HEAD explains that air passes through pores in the rubber, and recommends pressurising balls after each game or practice. The padel ball pressurizer guide explains the containers and their stated pressure ranges.

Pressure is not the only limit on ball life. HEAD says repeated impacts weaken the rubber's spring effect, so rebound can worsen even when pressure is maintained.
