This list is for regular players choosing a racket within £100, without restricting the search to control or attacking play. It uses the finder’s level 1 profile, meaning someone who plays regularly.

The budget does not imply a beginner rating: Tennis-Point rates the models described below Advanced. Players still learning the game can also consult the beginner racket list, where the selection serves a different profile.

Which specifications matter at this budget?

Shape and weight remain relevant below £100. HEAD recommends round heads for beginners because their sweet spot, the optimal hitting area, is larger and central; it describes teardrop heads as a mix of power and control. HEAD says beginners and intermediate players usually prefer 340–360 g, while the complete-specification catalogue median was 365 g on 15 October 2026.

Balance is the distance from the handle end to the point where the racket balances. On 15 October 2026, the catalogue’s lower third extended to 260 mm; HEAD associates lower balance with control. Its guide describes fibreglass faces as more flexible and softer than carbon, so compare materials alongside weight and balance, rather than choosing by cost alone.

How is the list calculated?

We use the same score as the racket finder, fixed to level 1, all styles and a £100 budget. The catalogue dated 15 October 2026 gives a pool of 193 and 49 matches; the template lists the top 12 by finder score. Tied scores represent equal matches under that profile, not a difference in quality.

Across the catalogue, 202 adult rackets have shape, weight and balance in millimetres. Another 257 adult models lack at least one of those fields in every source and are excluded. Shop prices and their dates appear in the table; this is a specification comparison, not a play-test.

Does EVA mean a soft core?

No. Stock Padel says EVA comes in soft, medium and hard densities. Tennis-Point rates the listed EVA Pro core in the Dunlop Megamax Green hard.
