01

Analytics

The site uses Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity. Google Tag Manager loads Google Analytics 4 on every page and Microsoft Clarity only after you accept analytics cookies. Google Analytics 4 records pages viewed, device and browser type, approximate region and site events such as finishing the racket finder (the answers chosen and the rackets shown, never anything that identifies you).

Microsoft Clarity records how pages are used (clicks, scrolling and session recordings) so that layout problems can be found. Google and Microsoft process this data under their own privacy policies.

02

Cookies and your choice

On your first visit a banner asks whether analytics cookies may be used. Accept and Reject are buttons of the same size; either one is a single click.

  • Before you choose, and after Reject: Google Analytics 4 runs in Google's consent mode. It sets no cookies and sends cookieless signals (the page, the time, device and browser type, and that consent was not given) without an identifier that links your visits. Microsoft Clarity does not load.
  • After Accept: Google Analytics 4 sets the cookies _ga and _ga_8508GHGGBR (kept for up to 2 years) to tell repeat visits apart. Microsoft Clarity loads and sets _clck (1 year, the same purpose) and _clsk (1 day, joins the pages of one visit). No advertising cookies are set either way.
  • Your choice is kept in your browser’s local storage (pm_consent) for 12 months, then the banner asks again. It is not a cookie and is not sent to us.
  • The only other cookie, nx_internal, is set in the site team’s own browsers to leave their visits out of the counts.
  • To change your choice, use Cookie settings at the bottom of any page. If you switch from Accept to Reject, the analytics cookies of this site are deleted and Clarity stops recording.
03

The finder and the comparison

The racket finder and the comparison run in your browser. Your answers are kept in the page address, so a link you copy opens the same result. When the finder shows its result, the answers and the rackets shown go to Google Analytics as one event (without cookies if you rejected them); nothing else leaves your browser.

Fonts are served from this site, not from Google Fonts.
