Open the racket finderWho is this shortlist for?
This list is for players who compete or have played for 2+ years. The profile includes all playing styles and sets no spending ceiling.
It is not restricted to attacking rackets or hard cores. For a shortlist matched to a particular style and budget, use the racket finder.
Which specifications matter?
HEAD says advanced and tournament players tend to choose 360–375 g, while heavier rackets offer more power and stability but are harder to handle. In the catalogue dated 15 October 2026, the 202 complete adult models have a median weight of 365 g. Their median balance point, the distance from the handle end to the point where the racket balances, is 265 mm.
HEAD describes diamond shapes as power-focused, with a smaller sweet spot, the optimal hitting area, near the tip. It describes teardrop shapes as a mix of power and control, and round shapes as offering extra control. The weight and balance guide explains these separate specifications.
- HEAD says carbon faces add stiffness; fibreglass adds flexibility and softness. K counts describe thousands of filaments per carbon strand, not a shop level rating.
- EVA is a rubber-like foam. Stock Padel says it comes in soft, medium and hard densities, so the material name alone does not establish core hardness.
How is the list computed?
We use the catalogue dated 15 October 2026 and the same score as the finder: level 2, meaning competition or 2+ years, all styles and no budget limit. The profile has a pool of 193 rackets, all 193 fit, and the list shows the 10 highest finder scores. Equal scores represent equal profile fit, not a performance distinction.
The catalogue contains 487 models, including 459 adult rackets; 202 adults have shape, weight and balance recorded. Another 257 adult models lack at least one of those fields in every source and are excluded. The order reflects specification matching, not play-testing.
Which models are listed?
These listed models illustrate different face materials and core ratings. Tennis-Point supplies the specifications and rates each model below Tournament; that is a shop category, not a claim of professional suitability.
- Wilson Endure Pro V1: hybrid shape, between round and diamond; 365 g; 265 mm balance; 3K carbon face; Dual Density core, rated medium.
- Siux Pegasus Pro · 365 g: teardrop shape; 365 g; 265 mm balance; 12K carbon face; EVA core, rated medium.
- Babolat Technical Origin +: teardrop shape; 355 g; 265 mm balance; fibreglass face; EVA Soft core, rated soft.
- NOX AT10 Pro Cup Hard: teardrop shape; 368 g; 260 mm balance; fibreglass face; HR3 EVA core, rated hard.
Questions
Do advanced players need a diamond racket?
No. HEAD associates diamonds with advanced attacking play, but recommends round shapes for players at any level seeking extra control.
Does a professional padel racket need carbon faces?
The listed Tournament-rated models include carbon and fibreglass faces. HEAD describes carbon as stiffer and fibreglass as more flexible; neither material alone establishes playing level.
How should advanced padel rackets on sale be compared?
Use the shop-and-date price table alongside the makeup labels. Compare weight, balance, face and core in the racket comparison, rather than treating a sale label as a suitability rating.
