Which Drive to choose
Shops rate every Drive version for Beginners and Control, so the series is positioned at players who prioritise forgiveness and ease of use. HEAD and Playtomic both recommend round rackets for players seeking control and a larger central sweetspot, which matches the Drive series' round shape and shop ratings. See similar round models at round racks and the adidas brand overview at adidas.
Weight separates the two named 2026 models: the Drive Light 2026 at 352 g sits in Playtomic’s lighter bracket (340–365 g) and will be easier to handle. The Drive 2026 at 368 g sits just above that bracket and closer to Playtomic’s heavier band (365–390 g), so it offers slightly more stability and power despite the shop still rating it as Beginners. Use the racket finder to filter by weight and balance, or compare Drive versions side by side in the table below.
- Pick Drive Light 2026 if you want the lightest listed option (352 g) and easier handling per Playtomic’s lighter-racket guidance.
- Pick Drive 2026 if you prefer a bit more mass (368 g) for stability and power, while staying in a Beginner control profile.
