What these rackets share
On 15 October 2026 the HEAD Gravity series listed four adult versions, all model year 2024. Every version uses a Control Foam core rated soft by the shops, and each is listed as Control by the shops.
Shapes are round or teardrop; weights span 339 g–365 g. Balance points are mostly 265 mm (middle third) except for one head-heavier model. HEAD explains how shape and balance affect the sweetspot and playability — see the HEAD brand page for that guidance.
- All four carry the year in the product name, as the shops list it.
- Core: Control Foam, soft in every shop description.
- Game type: all are sold as Control by the shops.
How the versions differ
HEAD Gravity Motion 2024 is teardrop, 355 g, balance 265 mm and a fibreglass face; Tennis-Point lists it as Advanced and Control. HEAD Gravity Team 2024 is round, 360 g, balance 265 mm with a fibreglass face; Tennis-Point lists it for Beginners and Control.
HEAD Gravity Team Light 2024 is round, 339 g, balance 270 mm (upper third), fibreglass face and is rated Beginners by the shop. HEAD Gravity Pro 2024 is round, 365 g, balance 265 mm and the only model with a carbon face; Padel-Point lists it as Tournament and Control. Shops selling each model are shown on the product pages.
- Motion: teardrop, 355 g, 265 mm — Advanced, Control.
- Team: round, 360 g, 265 mm — Beginners, Control.
- Team Light: round, 339 g, 270 mm — Beginners, Control.
- Pro: round, 365 g, 265 mm, carbon face — Tournament, Control.
Which version suits which player
Use the shops' level ratings to choose: Tennis-Point lists Team and Team Light for Beginners, Tennis-Point lists Motion as Advanced, and Padel-Point lists Pro as Tournament. HEAD and Playtomic note that round shapes and lower balance favour control, a common match for players learning the game — see the round rackets page for more on that shape.
Weight and balance affect handling: Team Light at 339 g and 270 mm is the lightest and the only head-heavier model in the series, which is why shops place it with beginners who prioritise easy handling. The Pro at 365 g with a carbon face sits in the Tournament bracket; heavier, carbon-faced rackets typically offer more stability and control at higher levels — use the racket finder, compare tool or the weight and balance guide to match specs exactly.
- Beginners → Team and Team Light (shop ratings, control-focused).
- Advanced → Motion (shop rating: Advanced, teardrop for a mix of power and control).
- Tournament → Pro (shop rating: Tournament, carbon face, heavier).
- Use the racket finder or compare to match specs.
