What do Equation versions share?
The catalogue checked on 15 October 2026 contains four Equation versions. Shop listings describe all as round and rate them Advanced, so the shared shape does not mean the shops classify them as beginner rackets.
All name a carbon frame and an HR3 EVA core, with Soft or Hard in the core name. EVA is a rubber-like foam. For context, HEAD's guide says round rackets have a larger central sweet spot, the area of the face that gives maximum performance.
How do the versions differ?
Use the full model name and year when matching a shop listing to the versions table. Every catalogued Equation version includes a year; Soft or Hard alone does not identify it.
Padel Market lists both 2027 versions at 355–365 g with fibreglass faces. Weight and face material are not recorded for the 2026 versions, and no version has a recorded balance point, the distance from the handle end to where the racket balances.
- NOX EQUATION Hard Advanced 2027 has an HR3 Hard EVA core. Padel Market rates it Advanced and Control.
- NOX EQUATION Soft Advanced 2027 has an HR3 Soft EVA core. Padel Market also rates it Advanced and Control.
- NOX EQUATION Hard Advanced 2026 has an HR3 Hard EVA core. Padel Market rates it Advanced and Power, unlike the Control rating for 2027.
- NOX EQUATION Soft Advanced 2026 has an HR3 Soft EVA core and an Advanced shop rating. No game-type rating is recorded, and no catalogue shop had it in stock on the check date.
Which Equation matches your requirements?
For an Advanced, Control-rated option, Padel Market lists both 2027 versions. The named core is the distinction between them: HR3 Soft EVA or HR3 Hard EVA. For an Advanced, Power-rated option, its listing points to Hard Advanced 2026.
Use the racket comparison to check those differences alongside the missing fields. None of these Equation versions qualifies for the racket finder, because each lacks a balance measurement; absence there does not mean the racket is unavailable.
Questions
What is the difference between Equation Soft and Hard?
The Soft versions name an HR3 Soft EVA core; the Hard versions name HR3 Hard EVA. For 2027, Padel Market lists the same round shape, 355–365 g weight band, fibreglass face and Advanced/Control ratings for both.
Is the NOX Equation Soft Advanced 2026 in stock?
No shop in the catalogue had it in stock on 15 October 2026. Its listing records a round shape, HR3 Soft EVA core, carbon frame and Advanced rating.
Is Equation Hard Advanced 2026 the same as 2027?
Both list a round shape and HR3 Hard EVA core. Padel Market rates the 2026 version Power and the 2027 version Control, so the year matters when comparing shop descriptions.
