What do Blade versions share?
Tennis-Point lists a teardrop shape for every Blade here with a recorded shape. The Blade V3 LS has no shape recorded. HEAD describes teardrop rackets as combining power and control, rather than serving only one game type.
The adult versions weigh 355–365 g; the junior weighs 300 g. All have shop-rated soft cores except the medium-rated Pro V3. The adult cores are EVA, a rubber-like foam, while the junior uses Control Foam.
How do the Blade versions differ?
The version table separates V3 and V4 names as listed by the shops. Launch years are not recorded, so these labels should not be treated as calendar years. Tennis-Point lists the following specifications and ratings.
- Blade Jr V4: teardrop, 300 g and 245 mm balance, with a fibreglass face and soft Control Foam core. Rated Beginners and Allround; this is the junior model.
- Blade LS V4: teardrop, 355 g and 260 mm balance, with a 3K carbon face and soft EVA Soft core. Rated Allround and labelled for women; no playing-level rating is recorded.
- Blade Pro V3: teardrop, 365 g and 270 mm balance, with a 3K carbon face and medium-rated EVA core. Rated Tournament and Power.
- Blade V4: teardrop, 365 g and 267 mm balance, with a mixed carbon-and-fibreglass face and soft EVA Soft core. Rated Advanced and Allround.
- Blade V3 LS: 355 g and 260 mm balance, with a fibreglass face and soft EVA Soft core. Rated Beginners and Allround; its shape is not recorded.
Which Blade matches your shop-rated level?
Tennis-Point’s ratings point beginners towards the adult Blade V3 LS, or the Blade Jr V4 for juniors. The Blade V4 carries the Advanced/Allround rating; the Pro V3 carries Tournament/Power and the only medium-rated core. The LS V4 is Allround and soft-rated, but its missing level rating leaves that distinction open.
Balance point means the distance from the handle end to where the racket balances. Both LS versions sit at 260 mm, in the catalogue’s lower third; the V4 and Pro V3 sit in its upper third. Use the racket finder to filter recorded specifications, then the racket comparison to check versions side by side.
